Elderberry Flower +Lemonade Champagne Cocktail
Makes 8 servings
Lemonade (recipe below)
1 bottle Champagne, chilled
8 ounces St.-Germain liqueur, chilled
8ish highball glasses filled with ice
8ish thin lemon slices (for garnish)
LEMONADE
2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice (8-10 lemons)
2 cups sugar
2 cups water, to dilute
Heat water + sugar in a saucepan over high heat until sugar dissolves, approximately 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Add lemon juice and cold water.
To serve, fill a highball glass to the top with ices, then fill about 2/3 full with lemonade. Top with 2 ounces Champagne, one ounce St. Germain liqueur.
Serve with a straw and garnish with lemon slices.
